NAHHH...
Is just for fun... no Phd etc... i still burn my fingers
experiment and show what u have done so others can improve on it or just take a note...
most times i struggle with any small project untill i understand how it works.
I tested a 96m piece of plastic coated antenna wire yesterday on 40m with the zs3 sprint, it worked better than any of the others :geek:
i put the balun on it and had to tune a bit,
agh so what u know......
Eish that thing is a killer on 40m(i must homebrew a better one with more correct lenghts and a bit of maths)
but i did not know i was going to have a long wire early sunday morning,,, the wind helped a bit it broke the 80m loop at the feedpoint. i just swung the wire and opened it up, to 82m lenght, then i needed a strong rope, which i did not have, so i just added a wire to the nearest tree  (with a short 3m rope, tied it of)

So when u were 20 years younger and not married u got lucky from time to time
well my turn was sunday morning the antenna just worked without any hassles (no dirty thinking aloud)
