make me think of the last sunspot when 6m opened to japan from zs1 cape town

my friend chris now zs1tx had all his antennas on the ground for service etc when the band opened

he managed to work one of the rarest callsigns on 6m with a piece of earth wire about 1m hooked to the curtain railing on 6m

what make this contact special is that this callsign only come up for abt 10min when the band opens on 6m
so if you worked him you have achieved something special on 6m

still the 6800km contact is an achievement
it shows you it does not matter size it matters to be there at the right time and place and band

8c outside and really cold in the southern parts
